What We Do
Ductless mini split installation, repair, and maintenance for homes across Clark and Floyd County. We show up, do the work right, and charge you a fair price for it.
Mini Split Installation
Sized right, installed clean, tested before we leave. Garages, sunrooms, additions, or whole-home multi-zone — we handle it.
Ductless Repair
Not cooling? Error codes? Leaking? We diagnose the actual problem and fix it. No upsells, no pressure to replace what still works.
Second Opinion
Got a quote that doesn't add up? Bring it to us. We'll inspect your system and give you a straight read — no obligation.
Clean and Check℠
One seasonal tune-up. Coils cleaned, refrigerant checked, everything inspected. Keeps your mini split ready for Southern Indiana weather.
How We Price the Work
Every job runs the same order: we find out what is actually going on, then we give you a number, then you decide. Never the other way around.
On a repair, that means diagnosing the system before anyone talks cost. A clogged drain or a dirty coil is a small fix; a refrigerant leak or a failed compressor is a bigger one, and you should not have to pay for a guess about which one it is. On an installation, it means measuring the space and running a load calculation, because zone count, line set length, and the electrical at your panel are what actually move the price.
Either way the number lands in writing before anything is scheduled, and the number we quote is the number you pay. No negotiating, no “let me check with my manager,” no line items that appear at the end. That is all the Transparent Pricebook™ is: our prices, where you can see them.
There is no trip charge in Clark or Floyd County either, so the visit that tells you what is wrong is not a bill of its own.
Repair First, Replace Only When It’s Right
A lot of HVAC gets sold on replacement. We are repair-first by default: if the system in front of us can be fixed, we fix it and tell you exactly what we did. Replacement only comes up when replacement is genuinely the better call for the house and the budget, and we show you the reasoning rather than asking you to take our word for it.
That is also why the second opinion sits on the list above as its own service. If another company handed you a quote and the logic felt thin, bring it to us. We inspect the system and give you a straight read with no obligation and no trip charge in Clark or Floyd County. Sometimes we confirm what you were told. Sometimes we do not. Either way you get a real answer before you spend anything.
You can see the finished side of that approach on our work — real jobs in real Clark and Floyd County homes, photographed as we left them.
Maintenance, and Where We Work
The cheapest repair is the one that never happens. A Clean and Check℠ visit is $99 — the outdoor unit plus one indoor head, each additional head $50 per visit — and covers a full system inspection, coil cleaning, refrigerant level check, electrical inspection, thermostat calibration, and a performance test.
If you would rather not track the dates, the Two Seasons Membership books both seasonal visits for the year, one before cooling season and one before heating season, and adds 10% off every repair all year. It runs $159 a year on a furnace and central AC system.
We work with homeowners within 18 miles of Charlestown, Indiana, covering Clark County and Floyd County — the service areas page lists every town. Mini splits are what we know best, and we also diagnose and repair standard central systems: furnaces, central AC, and heat pumps. The HVAC guides cover those in plain language if you would rather read before you call.
